Subhan Allah, yesterday night I met such a nice sister at the masjid and we started to chat before taraweeh started, so she counted me her story..
*
This sister was a very practising. Muslim woman who wore Jilbab and was memorizing the Quran mashaa Allah and she said :" I am a teacher of Islamic sharia at primary school for children and AL hamdulillah I have my own apparement and I have a job I love but there's something in my life that I need but it hurt me to speak about it ,I'm 45 years old and I'm still not married!" and tears fell from her eyes and she continued :" it hurt me to think about this subject because people's tongue are sharp and they always tell me :"why aren't you married?" as if saying "theres something wrong with you! " and not only that they also tell me something that break me which is "now you are too old it's late!" and she cried and cried... *
*
She added :"all my friends are married and I really felt alone when I went to hajj I felt the need to go there with my husband and there are so much Fitna everywhere, whenever a brother send me a dm on facebook I say maybe he is the one so I find my self talking a non Mahram!"..
*
I saw the sadness in her eyes, the wrinkles on her face from thinking too much and worrying and I felt the hurt in her voice so I took her hand and reminded her that if she didn't got married it's doesn't mean that something is wrong with her but it is a test from Allah, each one of us is tested in a different way! The unmarried one is tested with her patience and the married one is tested with her husband and will be questioned about it..
*
I reminded her to not look at what she doesn't have and look at what she have! A good health and a job and a house al hamdulillah Allah granted her so many blessings that many dream to have! I reminded her about Maryam who was the best of the women of the world and who never got married!I reminded her that maybe Allah want to raise her degree in jannah and I reminded her about jannah and that she will be married to whom she wants in jannah đ *
*
I said:"say al hamdulillah who busied the tongues of ppl on me so I can gain their good deeds On judgement day"đ and she smiled!
