Period, something shameful?

Period, something shameful?

The answer is a big and large NO.
As woman we should stop looking at period as something"shameful" or "unnatural".

You have the right to eat at home during Ramadan , I didn't tell you go eat in other's faces but if you are eating in the kitchen and your father/brother come in, no need to hide the plate, understand that Allah your creator gave you the permission to eat so no one can say anything to you.

There is nothing shameful on eating or saying I'm not praying to your father or brother ... Let's say it's something shameful and you need to have haya' for ok? Then why did Allah Subhanhu wa taala talked about it on the Quran?
And why the prophet Mohammad SAW talked about it in the ahadith?
And most important why did the sahabiyat asked the prophet about it?they could ask his wives no?do you think you have more haya' than the sahabiyat? ....

"A woman asked the Prophet (saw): 'I suffer from Istihadah and I never become pure; should I stop praying?' He said: 'No. Stop praying for the number ofdays and nights that you used to menstruate, then perform Ghusl, wrap a cloth around yourself, and pray.'"

It's not permissible to lie and say I did pray but you can just say I offered my obligations or I can't pray simply .
We need to start educating our males family members to see it as something normal so they can help you, like buy you pads or buy you food, don't annoy you much duo to hormones or pain.

It's important to educate our kids in a very young age about periods,if women didn't had it they wouldn't ba able to have babies so it's a blessing and it's a good thing 🤍🌸
